Being a local resident of the Capitol Hill Neighborhood in Seattle – I come across locals regularly who have varying opinions of their latest residents “The Occupy”, many of them no longer positive.
Even many of the occupiers themselves don’t seem to know what to make of their own movement.
Perhaps it is because, this giant attempt to keep the “Rainbow Gathering” going all year has lost sight of it’s true purpose.
Perhaps it is because, it was co-opted from the get go by George Soros, Burger King, Michael Moore, and friends.
Perhaps it is because, most of these people haven’t showered in over a month. Really guys?
So, as I always seem to do I must assume the responsibility of – to quote a friend, ” …doing what you’ve always done…… like that giant bright sign warning people of the last stop before the edge of the end of the universe that proudly reads “Milliways.” Always reminding them of the obvious truth….”
That said here is the list of the original goals of #OpOccupyWS …
First and foremost end all corporate personhood!
This starts with you the protestors. Go here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tScuHwVtRcY and watch that documentary until you understand what it means to be truly free and to be a Sovereign individual - who is not owned by anyone, but yourself.
In order to begin this process and legally maintain your existing assets, you must first go here : http://www.worldservice.org/docpass.html and get your World Citizen Passport, World Citizen Birth Certificate, and World Citizen International Asylum Card. Then you must destroy the stickman. The stickman is the corporation the US Social Security department created on your behalf to represent you, within their dealings with the Federal Reserve. It is also the corporate identity that is used to trick you into accepting Maritime Law a real law.
To do this you must publicly announce that your stickman aka the name on your social security card, driver’s license, and USA Birth Certificate are not you and that, you are not responsible for any debts or penalties held by that corporation. You must do this in a formal court of law or letter to the clerk of courts of the county in which you reside. Then you must deal with any form of objections expressed by the court. The court has 30 days to formally notify you of any objections or outstanding debts. After 30 days you must then publicly destroy – all of your stickman’s ID, in front of legal witnesses. These are the required steps to becoming a Sovereign individual.
Sovereign individuals cannot be forced to pay taxes, get driver’s license or abide anything that infringes upon the rights of their sovereignty. Sovereignty is the only way to be truly free and begin the process of ending corporate statehood.
Ask yourself do you want to be part of hope, or continue to be part of the continuing corporate destruction of all life on earth?
You must learn to, understand what it means to be a Sovereign Human. Then, you will begin to understand how their laws are used to bind people.
Next Goal : educated everyone else around you and convince them to complete the first goal.
Finally, we must take action and understand that – either we act and stand up for ourselves and choose to be free, or we choose to let others think for us and therefore govern us.
Corporations are the problem, and it starts with every one of us dissolving the corporations that governments have created in our own names in order to bind us to their will.
Understand the difference between a Legal Person and a Natural Person for those who are the 1% do. It is exactly they became the 1% and maintain that status.
So, if you truly want to bring back freedom to the 99% then it starts with you and your own actions!
Viva La Revolution!!!
When you’ve got NYT pundit Charles Blow unfurling his hipster flag comparing OWS to legendary 90s band Nirvana, you know a tipping point has been reached.
Recent polls prove that when Americans here this band, they dig it. Here’s a round-up.
Oct. 9-10 Time Magazine/Abt SRBI: This poll showed a 54 percent favorable rating of OWS, compared to a mere 27 percent thumbs up for the Tea Party. The same poll revealed a strong support for grievances associated with the movement. 86 percent of Americans polled thought that “Wall Street and lobbyists have too much influence in Washington”; 79 percent said that “the gap between the rich and the poor in the U.S. is too large”; 71 percent wanted prosecutions for “executives of financial institutions responsible for the financial meltdown in 2008”; and 68 percent believed that “the rich should pay more in taxes.” Echoing the sense of alienation expressed by OWS protesters, 60 percent of respondents said that “the political debate in Washington and the media” does not represent their concerns.
Oct. 13-16 United Technologies/National Journal Congressional Connection Poll: Here, a majority of those polled – fully 59 percent – said that they backed the goals of the protests from what they “know about the demonstrations.” And 68 percent supported the Democratic surtax on millionaires to pay for the cost of their jobs plan, a policy cited by OWS protesters in a recent Millionaire’s March in New York City.
Oct. 17 Quinnipiac poll: This survey of New York City voters revealed that the Big Apple is on board with OWS. 67 percent agreed with the views of the Wall Street protesters and a whopping 87 percent believed it’s okay that they are protesting. On the political front, the poll showed that 81 percent of Democrats supported the protests v. 35 percent of Republicans. Interestingly, 21 percent of voters blamed the banks for the country’s economic woes, while 37 percent blamed former President George W. Bush’s policies. (Um, is there a difference?) But a hefty 73 percent said they would support tougher government regulation of the banking industry.
Oct. 15 -16 USA Today/Gallup poll: This poll, which received the most misleading spin, found that nearly two-thirds of people who were asked didn’t know enough about the goals of the Occupy Wall Street protests to say if they approved of them or not. Some have been duped by this result into thinking that the movement has a “branding problem.”
Piffle, says Thomas Ferguson, professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. “This thing is still growing,” Ferguson told AlterNet. “If you know it, you generally like it. You have to remember that the major media haven’t been very good on covering the protests. Only recently did the New York Times start publishing substantive articles. Lots of people are just hearing about it, and as more hear about it there will be growing support.”
Things get a little complicated when respondents are asked who they blame for the country’s economic woes. The Gallup poll showed that a greater number of blamed the government compared to those who blamed Wall Street. The question is, which government policies are we talking about? The Quinnipac poll showed that respondents placed a great deal of blame on George W. Bush’s deregulatory policies if you offered them more specific questions.
“I liken this Government v. Wall Street blame game to a Kentucky Derby head-to-head match,” said Ferguson. “Even after all the propaganda that has been circulated blaming the government, half the population doesn’t buy it. That’s pretty amazing.”
In an era of government capture by the financial sector, it’s understandably hard to disentangle Wall Street from Washington. The anti-regulatory fever sparked by Ronald Reagan was certainly caught by Bill Clinton, and continued to rage through Bush II to fuel a full-on Wall Street conflagration. Obama’s ties to the financial sector, evidenced in his still-strong campaign support from Wall Street, will only serve further alienate populist-minded Americans. But when it comes to OWS, Democrats are much more likely to be supporters, the Gallup poll showed. 42 percent of Dems backed the protesters v. only 9 percent of Republicans.
Bottom line: If this thing continues to grow – and there is every indication that it will – the Occupy Wall Street could become the definitive movement for an entire generation. Yesterday, Noam Chomsky addressed Occupy Boston and called the movement “unprecedented.” “There’s never been anything like it,” said Chomsky. “If the bonds and associations that are being established at these remarkable events can be sustained through a long, hard period ahead – because victories don’t come quickly – it could turn out to be a real historic, a very significant moment in American history.”

Movement For Economic Justice Gains Global Momentum
Liberty Square, New York, NY — One month ago today about 2,000 people rallied in Lower Manhattan and marched up Broadway. Stopping at Zuccotti Park an estimated 150 stayed the night and began an encampment. Renaming the space “Liberty Square,” we kicked off a protest against bank bailouts, corporate greed, and the unchecked power of Wall Street in Washington. In the last month, the message of “We are the 99%” has won the hearts and minds of over half of Americans (according to a recent Time survey) and is gaining ground globally, with 1500 protests in 82 countries this past Saturday (October 15).
“I am here to celebrate the 30th day of this protest against corporate power,” said Karanja Gacuca from Liberty Square, a former Wall Street analyst who now organizes with Occupy Wall Street. “Concerned about the egregious Wall Street bonuses — particularly after the industry accepted a tax-payer bailout and the middle class continues to be squeezed — I believe it’s time for a fairer system that provides health care, education, and opportunity for all, and rejects corporate influence over government.”
Inspired by the uprisings across the Arab world, and fueled by the feelings of anger and helplessness of everyday Americans, in the past month Occupy Wall Street has:
Gone Global: On October 15th, protests were held from North and South America to Asia, Africa and Europe, with over 1,500 events in 82 countries, as part of a global day of action.
Flourished with Diversity: Occupiers of different ages, races, walks of life, and political beliefs have joined the movement. The mix grew quickly to include students, elderly people, families with children, construction workers on their lunch breaks, unemployed Wall Street executives, Iraq & Afghanistan veterans, moms, and many others.
Gained Support in the Heartland: Occupy actions are happening all across middle America, from Kethcum, ID to Kalamazoo, MI, from Orlando to Anchorage. Every day financial contributions arrive along with clothes, food, and notes of support from all across the country. A couple from West Virginia who have been sending supplies to Liberty Square occupiers writes: “We are so grateful for all of you involved in this defense of America. We firmly believe this is ‘it.’ If we can’t grab this democracy this time, we’ll sink and it will be a long time before we will have this opportunity again. Thank you for taking time from your busy life to be there.”
Changed the Conversation: The people-powered force of shared anger at a broken system that profits the top 1% at the expense of the rest of us has shifted our national dialogue. The Occupy Wall Street protest has become a cultural phenomenon, mentioned everywhere from jokes on Saturday Night Live to the solemn dedication the national memorial to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by President Obama Sunday. We, the occupiers, have shown our country how to come together and respect differences while working together to build a movement for change.
NEW YORK — Feminist author Naomi Wolf has been taken into custody by police at an anti-corporate greed protest outside an award ceremony held to honor New York’s governor.
Wolf and a companion were handcuffed outside Skylight Studios in Manhattan where Gov. Andrew Cuomo was to accept the “Game Changer of the Year Award” from The Huffington Post<

Cyber activists associated with Anonymous remain at the forefront of the rapidly growing OccupyWallStreet (OWS) protests as the movement goes global.
Demonstrators wearing Guy Fawkes {edit: V} masks have been spotted at key rallies in various cities around the world, including New York City, Rome, Madrid, Oakland, London, Frankfurt and San Francisco.
Rallying under the banner of #OCCUPYWALLSTREET, the demonstrators say they want to change the world’s financial system for the better.
Even WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange wore the now famous mask before police ordered him to remove it at a protest outside of London’s St Paul’s Cathedral.
Fortunately, Assange was not arrested, despite the fact that he broke through a police “kettle” enclosing the Cathedral to address the masses.
Human rights lawyer Jen Robinson reacted to Assange’s treatment by tweeting: “Says we can’t wear masks and be anonymous but [apparently] Swiss banks accounts can be.”
As TG Daily previously reported, Anonymous has been at the forefront of helping to organize protests against the current financial regime on Wall Street and other economic capitals.
Indeed, the group was one of the first to promote the nascent OWS flag on various websites, forums and IRC (chat) channels back in August.
Obviously, OccupyWallStreet has evolved and grown since then, but as organizer Nicole Carty, 23, told the New York Post the (now international) movement is determined to remain leaderless.
“It’s so important for it to be leaderless… As soon as you allow someone to speak for you, you’re giving up your freedom and your individual voice.”
Meanwhile, Jack Goldstone, professor of public policy at George Mason University in Washington D.C., told Reuters the OWS protests “could be with us” for a long time.
“You have a generation who are fed up being told what to do by rich western countries or rich western people. It’s going to be a difficult period. It makes politics very unpredictable.
“You can get paralysis, but you can also see dramatic shifts in policy to left or right. You can see the rise of ideologues as we saw in the 1930s. We are very much at the beginning of this,” he added.
