One of Jungle Riddim Records resounding mantras is and has always been “Every tree in the Jungle has its roots”. It’s the Individual backgrounds and experiences of a diverse array of producers and DJs that is laid on top a foundation of loyalty and innovation. These values make Jungle Riddim Records a familial enterprise, full of positivity and creativity.
Kevin Jobe aka Bodie, is a seasoned comrade of the Riddim tribe. Kevin, one of Jungle Riddim Records founding producers, has released three singles within the imprint. His roots began with his four year stint as a lead singer in a punk band. He then entered into Hip Hop as a DJ/Producer, until he found himself neck deep producing Jungle under the moniker Mainframe. His latest exploration of sound would be Dubstep, creating the alias Bodie. He brings with him years of technical experience and the hardcore sounds of West Coast jungle, where he came up. As a producer, Bodie balances strong family values by keeping close to his bedrock yet spending as much time in the studio remaining at the forefront of contemporary sounds, a common goal amongst his Jungle Riddim family.
It’s important for us at Media Contender to spotlight the artists that are in the trenches, the ones that have an undying passion and will live and die for their music, friends, and family. I know coming up on the West Coast there are alot of people who have helped me, and I feel blessed to be able to showcase and put shine on people that live and breathe the culture just like we do.
